A car and pickup collided just after 9 a.m. at the intersection of Water and Fifth streets in Coaldale. The crash involved a car and a pickup truck.

Water Street (Route 209) was closed over an hour.Members of the Tamaqua ambulances and Lehighton paramedics treated at least one person before being transported to the hospital.Coaldale police are investigating the incident.
