Three defendants in pending criminal cases entered guilty pleas in Carbon County court of Thursday.
Judge Steven R. Serfass accepted the pleas from the three defendants - all pleading to one count each of possession of drug paraphernalia.Andrea Schlegel, 27, of Lansford, was arrested on April 18, 2014, in the area of 333 S. First St., by Lehighton police.She was previously placed in the county's Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition probation program but was revoked from it for violating conditions.Corey Wade Sexton, 24, of Lehighton, was arrested on Feb. 26, 2016, by Lehighton police in the 100 block of South First Street.Jeff Harrison Vernon, 39, of Palmerton, was arrested on Jan. 22 by state police at Lehighton near the intersection of Strohl Drive and Spruce Hollow Drive in Towamensing Township.Serfass placed the three on probation for a year and ordered they get a drug and alcohol evaluation and follow any recommendations for treatment, render 50 hours of community service, pay court costs of about $1,000 and pay a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation.
