State police at the Lehighton barracks reported on the following incidents:• State police were summoned to the 100 block of Main Street, Parryville, at 7:30
p.m.Wednesday to investigate an incident of harassment after a verbal argument turned physical. The suspect is a 29-year-old woman from Parryville and the victim is a 46-year-old woman from Lehighton. Police did not say whether or not charges were filed in the case.• A traffic stop by state police at 1:33 a.m. June 20 in the 100 block of Church Street in Franklin Township resulted in a 39-year-old New Ringgold man being arrested on drug charges. Police said the man was a passenger in the vehicle and had two active warrants for his arrest. After receiving consent to search the vehicle, police found a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.• State police are investigating a case of a sexual offender having failed to comply with his legal requirements. The incident happened between midnight July 8 and 5:20 p.m. July 12 aton Interchange Road in Towamensing Township. The suspect failed to update his required employment information.• State police were summoned to Camp Adams in Penn Forest Township at 3 p.m. June 23 for an indecent exposure incident after a 14-year-old girl exposed her buttocks to other juvenile detainees. The investigation is continuing.• A 24-year-old Penn Forest Township man was arrested on charges of simple assault after an incident that happened between 10:30-10:45 a.m. July 4on Stoney Creek Road in the township. State police said the victim is a 32-year-old township woman. Police said the charges stem from an argument between the two that turned physical and resulted in bodily injury to the woman.Police did not release the names of those charged.
