A program about Hope Hill Lavender Farm will be presented at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Locust Lake State Park amphitheater in Barnesville.

The farm is owned by Wendy and Troy Jochems, who purchased it in 2004. Wendy's long time passion for gardening and love of lavender and Troy's vision to create something more organically sustainable, made lavender the most obvious choice.After some research into different cultivors, five were chosen: provence, grosso, hidcote, cathy blanc and folgate. The first planting of 1,600 plants took place in 2011.If it rains, program will be canceled.
