July 17, 1994 - John Dispensa fires a five-hiiter to help lift the Birches to a 5-2 victory over Lehigh/West Bethlehem in the opening game of their best-of-three NorCo Legion playoff series. Dispensa, who strikes out five batters in the contest, delivers an RBI single in the first inning to help his own cause. The winners, who never trail in the contest, also receive a run-scoring double from Ross Berger and two hits from Dan Borden. The Birches will go on to win the series, two games to one.
