One person has died in a house fire in Mahoning Township.

The structure fire broke out at 1:30 a.m. Saturday on the 300 block of Beaver Run Drive.

Coroner Robert Miller pronounced one nine-year-old female dead at 2:35 a.m. The girl was found deceased in her bedroom after the fire, with the cause of death determined to be asphyxiation.
