Raymond Joseph Bender Jr., 54, of Saylorsburg, was committed to the Monroe County Correctional Facility in Snydersville, following his arraignment on charges relating to an alleged indecent assault of a 15-year-old girl.

State police at the Fern Ridge said he was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Colleen Mancuso in Brodheadsville, on charges of aggravated indecent assault, unlawful contact with a minor, corruption of minors and indecent assault, and jailed in lieu of $250,000 bail.Police said the incidents alleged assaults happened between 7:30 p.m. Feb. 5 and 10:30 p.m. Feb. 8 at 1112 Lakeside Drive in Chestnuthill Township.
