An Orwigsburg man who was injured Friday when a vehicle crashed into a Schuylkill County restaurant has died.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Martin S. Moyer, 74, died Tuesday in the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest of injuries he sustained in the crash at Robin's Restaurant, North Manheim Township.Injured in the same incident was Eljon P. Alonge, 59, also of Orwigsburg, who was transported to the hospital in a private vehicle to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.Police said the crash happened at 8:33 a.m. off Route 61 when the driver's side rear tires of a 2017 Mack CXU operated by Fred W. Clark, 59, of Sicklerville, became disengaged and crossed into the R & R Auto Group parking lot, striking nine other vehicles.They sustained varying degrees of damages, police said.Meanwhile, the tires continued north and slammed into the south side of the restaurant, injuring Moyer and Alonge.The vehicle continued northbound on Route 61 and came to a final rest in a Sheetz store parking lot.Moyer was transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-East in Pottsville, and later was flown by helicopter to the Cedar Crest facility.
