A male driver was injured in a single vehicle crash along Route 443 in Mahoning Township.

The crash occurred at 2 p.m. as the man was traveling east near the intersection with Clinic Road. The car crossed over the West bound lane, striking an earth mound, before going airborne.

The car flipped onto its roof. The victim was treated at the scene by members of the Mahoning Valley ambulance and transported to an area trauma center. Mahoning township police are investigating the incident.
