State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the theft of a motorcycle from a Schuylkill County residence.

Troopers said Jason Hewes, ofCoal Street, Port Carbon, reported his red 2006 Suzuki SV6505 was stolen from in front of his residence. The bike was chained along the sidewalk and removed sometime overnight of July 1-2. The bike has a state registration plate N6575.Anyone with information is asked to call troopers at 570-739-1330.
