A Schuylkill County driver was cited following a one-vehicle crash that occurred at 5:10 p.m. Thursday along Route 61 in Blythe Township.
State police at Frackville said Carmen A. Santiago, 51, of Shenandoah, was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer northbound in an area known as "the grade," when she lost control. The vehicle spun in a clockwise direction and struck the guide rail on the driver's side rear. After impact, the vehicle slid along the guide rail before coming to rest facing south on the east shoulder.Santiago was not injured and was wearing her seat belt.
