Schuylkill County Judge Charles M. Miller sentenced seven people charged by local police to probation. All were also ordered to pay court costs and fees.
Shane Evans, 30, of Tamaqua: Charged by Tamaqua police with possession of drug paraphernalia on Aug. 16, 2016.Miller sentenced him to 12 months probation.Joyce Card,38, of Lansford: Charged by Tamaqua police with accident involving damage, driving while her operating privileges were suspended or revoked, failing to stop and give information or render aid, careless driving and disregard traffic lanes.Miller sentenced her to 12 months probation on the accident charge, and fined her $200 on the suspended license charge.All other charges were dropped.Joseph Cierlitsky, 26, of Tamaqua: Charged by Tamaqua police with resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct, engaging in fighting, and public drunkenness on Jan. 21.Miller sentenced him to 24 months probation on the resisting charge, and to 12 months of probation on the paraphernalia and conduct charges, to be served concurrently with the term for resisting.All other charges were dropped.Deanna M. Krulick, 25, of Hazleton: Charged by Kline Township police with manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance on July 2, 2016.Miller sentenced her to 23 months probation.David J. Brode,23, of Tamaqua: Charged by Tamaqua police with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia on Oct. 26, 2016.Miller sentenced him to 12 months probation on the paraphernalia charge, and 30 days of probation on the marijuana charge. Both sentences are to be served concurrently.Erik Klemow,34, of Frackville: Charged by Tamaqua police with defiant trespass into a fenced/enclosed area on Dec. 7, 2016.Miller sentenced him to 12 months probation.Matthew R. Lasky, 22, of Summit Hill: Charged by Coaldale police with possession of drug paraphernalia on Oct. 19, 2016.Miller sentenced him to six months probation.
