Our upside-down world needs help

The world is a total mess! It's in an upside-down turmoil. The random everyday killings never stop. You can make a sure bet of high stakes that tomorrow will have another terrorist bombing or some type of suicide bomber killing and you're certain to win the wager. It's chancier than playing the lottery.

The "psycho cases" are running rampant; there's absolutely no end to these senseless murders. We thought the old west was out of control with gunslingers, bank robbers and uncontrollable laws, but today's onslaught of killings can surpass any action the Old West had endured.North Korea is a country to be seriously concerned about since they are continually firing off deadly rockets. The missiles don't seem to cause any harm since they end up in the ocean. Why Japan tolerates these rocket explosions is anyone's guess. It's too scary to ignore. God help mankind if those monsters decide to bomb Japan or any other country, including America. We currently live in fearful times, but we cannot let terrorists defeat us by showing them we're afraid. The world has changed drastically. It all began with the invention of computers. Now we have iPhones, cellphones, laptops, video games and every conceivable invention mankind has never known before. Whoever heard of taking photos with a telephone. Take me back to the 1940s when life was the most beautiful era to be growing up. Yes, we experienced a horrendous World War II, but we didn't have daily killings and "sickos" walking around with deadly drugs in their systems, ready to lash out at innocent victims. It's coming to the seriousness where we ought to wear a suit of armor when leaving home to protect ourselves from gunshots or a knife stabbing. It's no joke; it's becoming a reality. Money is the root of all evil. Drugs are the root of destroying one's life and yet these fools crave the deadly addiction. What will life be like in another 10 or 20 years? Perhaps God will arrive to save our precious world from all the turmoil creating total havoc. We certainly need a miracle to wipe ISIS off the face of the earth, and to stop the killings and drug-related incidents. If God doesn't save our universe, who will?EARL E. STAHLERWEST PENN TOWNSHIP
