Schuylkill County judges handed down rulings against the following people charged by local police.

Driving under the influenceStacy C. Miletto, 41, of Philadelphia: Charged by Tamaqua police with driving under the influence, highest rate, on Oct. 2, 2014.Miller sentenced her to 48 hours to six months in jail, beginning July 7, with immediate parole upon completion of the minimum; fined her $500; her license is suspended for one year; she was ordered to pay restitution of $420 to John Hornketh and $3,553 to State Farm Insurance; enroll in Alcohol Highway Safety School and outpatient treatment; and pay court costs and fees.Bench warrants dissolvedDorothy Pyles, 33, of Easton: Charged by Rush Township police with theft of services on Feb. 16.Judge James P. Goodman dissolved the bench warrant against her and reinstated recognizance bail.He ordered Pyles to continue to stay at her current address, and not relocate without court permission. He also ordered her to apply for a public defender and be fingerprinted.Kevin Hatfield, age unknown, of Emmaus: Charged by Tamaqua police with passing bad checks on Nov. 2, 2011.Goodman dissolved the bench warrant against him and set bail at $5,000 unsecured.He ordered Hatfield to continue to stay at his current address, and not relocate without court permission. He also ordered him to apply for a public defender and be fingerprinted.ARD revocationsDavid H. Hartranft, 22, of Tamaqua: President Judge William E. Baldwin on June 14 revoked his Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program status and listed his case for trial.He was charged by state police at Frackville with three counts of recklessly endangering another person, hunting in a safety zone and disorderly conduct on June 15, 2014.The incident occurred at occurred about 2:45 p.m. at his father's house in the village of Newkirk, Schuylkill Township.Troopers said Hartranft had argued with his father. After the argument he fired multiple rounds from a .22-caliber long gun from the backyard of his father's home toward 614 and 602 Old Route 209.His father, another man and a 4-year-old girl were in the house at the time.
