Dave Heisler ends with three hits and two runs for the winners, coached by Eddie Neifert. Charles Stefanick also chips in with a pair of hits. Bill Williams pitches three scoreless innings in relief to earn the win. Williams enters the contest with a second-and-third, two-out jam and gets out the frame without allowing a run. He seals the contest in the ninth by striking out the side.
