Mahoning Township Police are searching for Joshua Yorgey. 36, of Mahoning Township.

At 10 p.m. Wednesday, Mahoning Township Police executed a search warrant at Yorgey's residence 135 Orchard Road.

With the assistance of Lehighton Police, police seized methamphetamine, suspected heroin, syringes, a digital scale, numerous small plastic bags, and a homemade bong. Yorgey was not home at the time of the search.

As a result of the investigation a felony warrant has been issued for Yorgey. He has been charged with possession with intent to deliver, two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Earlier in the day at 6:52 p.m. police stopped a vehicle leaving the residence. Police seized methamphetamine, and a glass pipe.

The driver, Jennifer Gongora, 31, of Kunkletown was placed in Carbon County Prison on an oustanding warrant from Monroe County.

A passenger in the vehicle, Travis Alan George, 25, of Slatington was placed in Carbon County Prison in lieu of $20,000/10 percent bail on charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
