Schuylkill crashes

State police at Frackville reported the following crashes:

A one-vehicle crash at 2:40 p.m. Monday along Route 61, a half-mile south of Mall Road in Blythe Township, Schuylkill County.Troopers said Joseph Sayetta, 60, of Frackville, was driving a 2002 Ford Explorer northbound during a heavy downpour. He said he lost control on the wet road, with the vehicle going onto the right berm. It initially struck a rock then overturned several times before coming to rest on its passenger side.Sayetta said he was injured but refused medical attention. Damages were disabling to the vehicle. The right lane was closed for an hour until the scene was cleared, troopers said.• A York County driver was cited following a two-vehicle crash at 5:02 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Route 61 and East Darkwater Road, in New Castle Township, Schuylkill County.Police said Dawn T. Healy, 39, of Lewisberry, York County, was stopped at a stop sign on Darkwater Road when she attempted to make a left turn onto Route 61. She pulled into the path of Jared T. Donahue, 25, of Shamokin, Northumberland County, who was southbound on 61. The front of Donahue's 2011 Ford F150 pickup truck hit the left side of Healy's 2011 GMC Acadia. After impact the Acadia spun counter-clockwise about 120 degrees and slid across to the northbound right shoulder of 61.Healy and two boys, ages 9 and 7, were taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital East, Pottsville, for observation. Donahue was not injured. All involved were properly seat belted, troopers noted. The two vehicles had to be towed.Troopers cited Healy for a stop sign violation.
