June 26, 1975 - Conrad "Smokey" Everett pitches a four-hit shutout and Palmerton explodes for seven first-inning runs to gain a 12-0 Lehigh Valley Legion victory over Northwestern. Everett strikes out 10 and recieves plenty of offensive support from his teammates. Jim Kurtz delivers an RBI single during the big first frame and blasts a three-run homer in the fourth. George Kurtz finishes the contest with three hits and three RBIs, while Denny Strohl and Joe Kavusak each contribute two hits, a run, and an RBI. Rick Engle also chips in with two hits and a run.
