Estate files death suit in Grim murder case

ALLENTOWN (AP) - The estate of a Pennsylvania woman has filed a wrongful-death lawsuit against a former co-worker jailed on charges he kidnapped and killed her.

Fifty-year-old Michael Horvath was charged with homicide, kidnapping and abuse of a corpse in the death of 41-year-old Holly Grim after authorities unearthed her bone fragments from his yard in Ross Township, Monroe County, last year.Grim disappeared from Lehigh County's Lower Macungie Township in November 2013. She and Horvath had worked together at a company that makes church organs. Police say Horvath owned DVDs dealing with murder, sexually deviant behavior and "hunting humans."The wrongful death lawsuit filed in Lehigh County says Grim's death devastated her son, who was 16 when his mother disappeared, and denied him her parenting and financial support.Horvath has pleaded not guilty. His attorney didn't immediately comment Monday.
