The weather map is predicting perfect weather for Slatington's third annual Day in Victory Park.

The Northern Lehigh Events Committee has collected local bands, local eats and family friendly entertainment for residents to enjoy from noon until 10 p.m. Saturday at the Grove Street park.This year's lineup includes John Ortiz and Mike Peters opening the afternoon at 1:30 p.m., Midnight Special will follow at 4 p.m., with Social Call closing out the night at 7 p.m.A beer garden will be planted at the park as newcomer ventriloquist and magician Linda Holiday preforms at 1 p.m., and Jamie Dawson brings her live critters for an animal show at 2:30 p.m.All proceeds raised from this event will benefit the 110th Northern Lehigh Halloween Parade scheduled for Oct. 28.
