State Police at Frackville

State police at Frackville reported on the following incidents.

• Adam John Bobyak, 21, of Walnut Street, Ashland, is facing a charge of harassment following a neighbor dispute. State police said Bobyak pushed his neighborto the ground during an argumenton Walnut Street. The incident occurred at 7:50 p.m. Wednesday.• Jennifer Lynn Hoffman, 36, of Pottsville, was charged for an incident on June 6 at 10:15 p.m. Troopers said Hoffman's vehicle ran out of gas along Route 924 in West Mahanoy Township and stopped, partially blocking the highway in the rain. A service provider was summoned to bring gasoline. Hoffman then implied she would pay for the gas via a credit card. Once she received the service, she refused to pay the bill. Troopers said she was given a "generous grace period" to pay the service fee but did not, and charges were filed.• A trooper was performing a stationary construction zone detail along Interstate 81 southbound in Mahanoy Township, when he observed a 2014 Toyota sedan being driven around the posted stop sign and the orange traffic lane closure cones into a closed off work area. The Toyota then swerved back into the open travel lane before striking any workers. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver identified as Bernadette Curran, 59, of Minersville. While speaking with her the trooper smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her breath and person. She was taken into custody and transported to the barracks where she submitted to a breath test. Charges are pending.
