One person was killed as the result of a violent head-on crash along Route 309 in Lynn Township.

The crash occurred just after 8 a.m. Friday in the northbound lanes on the south side of the Blue Mountain, about a mile south of Gun Club Road. Route 309 is closed.State police are investigating the incident.
