A Monroe County woman has been cited for public drunkenness following an incident that occurred on June 15 at 3:23 a.m. ata residence on Buck Run Road in Tobyhanna.

Pocono Mountain Regional police responded to that address for a report of a woman yelling in the street. On scene the officers encountered Octavia Texiera, 30, of 3152 Laurel View Lane, Tobyhanna. She was very intoxicated, yelling at people who live in the residence. The investigation revealed that Texiera was at the residence and became intoxicated and belligerent and was removed from the home. Texiera was uncooperative with police and was taken to the county prison in Snydersville.
