Three people were injured in a crash Wednesday afternoon along Route 443 in West Penn Township. The crash occurred just after 4 p.m. West Penn police report a car was traveling west and stopped for several deer which had run out into the roadway. While stopped, they were rammed from the rear by a man driving a minivan. All three occupants of the car were injured, including a pregnant woman. All three were treated at the scene by members of the Penn Mahoning, Mahoning Valley ambulances and Lehighton paramedics before being transported to area trauma centers.
