Tamaqua police released information on two recent cases, each resulting in citations.

James Ortiz, 46, of 74 Hunter St., Tamaqua, was cited for disorderly conduct onSaturday after an argument with neighbors. Ortiz reportedly threatened the neighbors with bodily harm.John Kamant, 57, whose last known address was on Mahanoy Street in Tamaqua, was cited for criminal trespass, simple assault and harassment after an incident on Orwigsburg Street on June 18.The victim told police she found Kamant sleeping in her home. When she told him to leave he picked up a beer, then punched her in the face on his way out.There were visible bruises and swelling on the right side of her face.
