June 21, 1946 - Walter Slog leads a 22-hit attack as Lansford outscores Seek, 22-11, in a Panther Valley League contest. Slog goes 5-for-6, knocks in three runs, and scores twice. The winners, who score nine times in the first inning, receive plenty of other offensive support. Larry Furey finishes with three hits (one a double), three RBIs, and four runs scored, while "Peka" Daniels contributes two hits (one a triple), two runs and three RBIs. Stanley Grybel hits a home run, while Johnny Kozak, Leo Olsovsky, and Chester Trojan each end with two hits.
