Vacation Bible School

• Zion United Church of Christ, Second and Iron streets, Lehighton, will be holding Vacation Bible School from 6-8 p.m. June 18-22. This year's theme is Maker Fun Factory. There is no charge. Come explore and discover that God has a purpose for each of us and created us just the way we are. Children we be doing crafts, play games, exploring the Bible, doing experiments and making memories for a lifetime. VBS is open to children from age 3 up to eighth grade. • Over the Moat VBS will be held at Ben Salem UCC, 1965 Church Hill Road, Lehighton from 6:30-9 p.m. June 19-23, with 5 great lessons about the life of David. Students will experience medieval life, complete with a castle, knights and royalty. Through the lessons, they'll see God's sovereignty, love and faithfulness demonstrated in the life of David and will learn to praise the King of the universe. In celebration, a royal banquet shall be held for the children and their families onJune 23. As honored guests, you are invited to join us for food, games, and an outdoor movie. The movie will be shown on one of the church's walls and will start as soon as it is dark enough, so the night will go later than the usual 9 p.m. Families are asked to bring blankets or chairs for the movie.
