Mid Penn Bank, subsidiary of Mid Penn Bancorp Inc., held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of its newest branch office, located at 1021 Centre Turnpike in Orwigsburg.

This location is the bank's fifth branch in Schuylkill County.The Orwigsburg office will operate as Miners Bank, a division of Mid Penn Bank.The location is expected to employ three to five team members to fulfill personal banking, business banking, trust and lending needs.
