Trinity happenings

Sunday worship at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., with Holy Communion is at 9:30 a.m. The church is air-conditioned. Music is provided by the Trinity Praise Band. Included during worship will be a time of recognizing graduates from high schools and higher institutions of learning. Visiting pastor Rev. William Thompson presides. Coffeehouse fellowship follows.Trinity is planning a Community Vacation Bible School June 26-30, 6:30-8:30 p.m., for children ages 3 through sixth grade. The theme is "Hero Central," where children discover their strength in God. Young people will learn God's heroes have Heart (Samuel anoints David), Courage (Abigail), Wisdom (Jesus goes to the temple), Hope (Beatitudes), and Power (Pentecost). Bible stories, crafts, refreshments, more.
