Schuylkill County police report

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the following incidents.

A Pottsville manreported the theft of two black handguns from his unlocked vehicle. A Heckler/Koch 9 mm and a Sturn & Ruger LCP 380 were removed from the driver's side area of the vehicle while parked onMain Street in Mount Carbon borough. The theft occurred sometime between 10 p.m. June 7 and 10 a.m. on June 8. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-739-1330.State police are investigating the theft of copper wiring from Roots Farm, located along Pleasant Valley Road, in Pine Grove Township. The business was forcibly entered some time between June 11 at 7:30 p.m. and 8:45 a.m. June 12. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers.Edward Sonnon, 31, of Pottsville is facing a charge of retail theft. Sonnon entered Kohl's Department Store in the Fairlane Village Mall, Norwegian Township, at 11:20 a.m. Friday and took a perfume tester and two packages of earbuds without paying for the items. Charges were filed.State police at Frackville are investigating a burglary at a Girardville residence. Troopers said a homewas entered sometime between 8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. on Saturday. Tools belonging toa Shenandoah man, who was helping make repairs to the home, were removed.
