Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following:

• Resignations of Debi Hollenbach, administrative secretary to the assistant superintendent; Andrea Meyers, high school physics teacher; Rachel Reiter, high school choral/music teacher; Kelly Bechtel, lunch room monitor at Peters Elementary; Veronica Scheffler, cafeteria/hall monitor.• Appointment of Rajeev Gupta, temporary professional employee, physics teacher at the high school, replacing Andrea Meyers, who resigned, at a salary of $52,975, effective Aug. 21.• Transfer of Christina McShane from fourth grade teacher at Slatington Elementary to kindergarten teacher, replacing Deborah Geiger, who retired, at no change to salary, effective Aug. 21.• Change of status for Kimberly Ruland from five hours per day as a high school Cook's helper to 5.5 hours per day as a high school Cook's helper, at no change in salary, effective Aug. 23.• Change of classification for Jamie Farber from 11-month clerk typist to 12-month clerk typist, effective July 1.• Hired a temporary vacancy replacement administrative secretary to the assistant superintendent, effective immediately until Sept. 1, at a rate of $15 per hour.• Hired Kelly Bechtel as a substitute secretary/instructional aide for the 2017-18 school year at the 2017-18 substitute rate.• Approved Elizabeth Doll and Patricia Ingles as secondary detention monitors, and Connie Check as a substitute secondary detention monitor, at the high school for the 2017-18 school year, with work to be on an as-needed basis, at the rate of $20 per hour worked.• Approved Debra Knerr and Dawn Tulio as administrative detention supervisors at the middle school. Knerr will cover the Monday detentions from 2:20-3:20 p.m., while Tulio will cover the Wednesday detentions from 2:20-3:20 p.m. They will work throughout the 2017-18 school year on Mondays and Wednesdays that warrant detention coverage, with their salary $20 per hour worked.• Changed status of Tracy Karpowich from sophomore adviser, $671 to a stipend of $503 for the 2016-17 school year.• Changed the status of Britani Pristash from volunteer assistant field hockey coach, to full-time middle school field hockey coach, at a stipend of $2,842 for the 2017-18 school year.• Appointed Allison Chruscial as sophomore class adviser at the rate of $168 for the 2016-17 school year.
