Northern Lehigh School District has approved a new agreement for its school police officer.
On a unanimous measure, the school board on Monday approved a new salary and benefit agreement between the district and Frank Gnas, school police officer.The agreement is for one year, and includes a 3 percent increase, according to Sherri Molitoris, co-director of business affairs/human resources.With the increase, his salary will be $41,200.Gnas was originally hired to the position last year.Also on Monday, the board approved the new salary and benefit agreement with Sharon Sherman, confidential secretary to the superintendent.Her new salary will be $48,800.
