Sara Rose Koonrad, 27, of Ashley, was cited by Coaldale police after a traffic stop on Monday.

An officer was monitoring an area of high drug-related activity at 2:32 p.m. when he saw a black Jeep leaving the area, turning from Third Street onto High Street. The driver did not use a turn signal and a traffic stop was made.After the officer explained why she was stopped, Koonrad consented to having her vehicle searched. A small baggie with a crystal substance, along with a red straw containing residue, were found in her purse.She was cited for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to use a turn signal.
