A Schuylkill County driver was cited following a one-vehicle crash at 5:10 a.m. Wednesday.

State police at Frackville said Allen M. George, 19, of Frackville, was driving a 2008 Nissan Sentra northbound on Ringtown Boulevard in Union Township when he swerved to avoid a deer. George lost control of the car, which struck a guide rail along the east berm, damaging about 30 feet of the guide rail.George and his passenger, Nicholas Morgan, 17, of Gordon, were not injured. Troopers cited George for driving while operating privileges are suspended or revoked.
