The fourth annual "music in the park" summer concert series is set for Kennedy Park in Lansford.

This year's series will begin this Sunday at the park, located along Route 209 (Patterson Street), near the Panther Valley football stadium.Every Sunday during the summer there will be free entertainment provided from 6 to 8 p.m. Refreshments will be served with the proceeds from the sales used to benefit the ongoing revitalization of Kennedy Park.The schedule includes the following:June 11: Keith Brintzenhfoss, Allentown, performing German style country folk and polkas.June 18: Crossroads Duo, Tamaqua, performing southern country blues and folk.June 25: Gene Morrison, Hometown, performing acoustic classic rock, America.July 2: Two for One, McAdoo, performing classic rock, good time oldies.July 16: Darren Frehulfer, Lehighton, performing acoustic country, folk and rock.July 23: Buddy (member of Cajun Outlaws), South Tamaqua, performing acoustic southern blues, rock-a-billy.Everyone is asked to bring a blanket or a lawn chair.
