Two people were injured Thursday evening when involved in a crash in Schuylkill township.

The crash occurred at 7:30 p.m. as a couple were traveling south on Catawissa Street in Tuscarora.

The truck veered to the left, crossing the north bound lane mounting a sidewalk impacting with a utility pole. The two were treated at the scene then transported to an area hospital. Witnesses at the scene reported a dog was also injured in the crash. State police at Frackville are investigating the incident.
