McAdoo police have released information on recent citations issued by members of the department.

Meghan Santoni, 20, of Hazleton, was cited for underage drinking following a traffic stop made at 3:06 a.m. on June 4. Santoni was a passenger in the vehicle and had an open bottle of apple liqueur in her possession.William Evanko, 28, of McAdoo was cited for possession of marijuana and possession of cannabis oil. The citation was issued after Evanko came in contact with police at 11:20 p.m. on May 29. Officers were monitoring a high crime area at the time and noted a strong odor of marijuana coming from Evanko. He had two vials of cannabis oil and a large amount of marijuana in his possession.Bryan Ventura, 19, of Hazleton, was cited for possession of a prohibited offensive weapon, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at 12:32 a.m. on May 21. Officers found a pink stun gun and a small amount of marijuana in a backpack owned by Ventura, who was a passenger in the vehicle.A 17-year=old female from McAdoo was cited for underage drinking on May 26. The charges were filed after officers responded to a disturbance on Manning Street at 8:51 p.m.
