Four Times News area players are part of the Lehigh Valley Carpenter Cup baseball team.

Northwestern is represented by a trio of players, brothers Trevor Schreiner and Tyler Schreiner along with Jacob Haas. Also making the team is Tamaqua's Casey Rother.The Lehigh Valley's first game in the single-elimination tournament will be on June 15 at 12:30 p.m. against Jersey Shore at UYA Showcase Field in FDR Park in Philadelphia.In addition to making the squad, Rother was one of three Lehigh Valley underclassmen selected to partipate in the Skills Day competition that will be held June 14 at UYA Showcase Field.
