Pleasant Valley's Shannon Lozier will further her academic and athletic career at Immaculata University this fall.

The senior Bear, who will play field hockey for the Mighty Macs, plans to major in secondary education and focus on history.Lozier played all four years for the Bears as either a forward or mid-fielder. She was a four-year varsity letter winner, and received the Coaches' Midfield Award in 2016. She was also a member of gold-medal winning Keystone Games team in 2015 and was a player on the championship team of the Pocono Classic. Lozier was also a coaches' pick for Barcelona Camp-World Camp USA.The daughter of Paul and Cheryl Lozier, Shannon was a three-sport athlete at PV. She also played basketball and softball.
