A Monroe County casino has been cited by the Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state liquor control board.

Mount Airy Casino Resort, 312 Woodland Road, Paradise Township, Mount Pocono, has been cited for an incident on April 4 when it permitted smoke and/or smoking in a public place where smoking is prohibited.This charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. In addition, the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge brought.
