Schuylkill County court - probation revocation

A Tamaqua woman is back behind bars after a Schuylkill County judge revoked her probation on drug-related charges.

Leanna L. Vidzicki, 32, was charged by state police at Frackville with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a small amount of marijuana on Aug. 13, 2015.The marijuana charge was dropped, and Vidzicki pleaded guilty on May 25, 2016, to the other charge. She was placed on probation for 12 months.But she failed to comply with the terms, and President Judge William E. Baldwin revoked her probation and sentenced her to four to 12 months in jail.Another woman also had her probation revoked and was returned to jail.Samantha M. McGeehan, 25, was charged by Rush Township police retail theft and receiving stolen property on Dec. 20, 2014, and on April 29, 2016.She pleaded guilty on Jan. 18 to the theft charge. The receiving charge was dropped, and Baldwin sentenced her to 12 months on probation.After she violated the terms of her probation, Baldwin sent her back to jail for up to 12 months.Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin revoked the probation ofJonathan Evanco, 23, of McAdoo.Evanco was charged by possessing paraphernalia on Jan. 21, 2015.He pleaded guilty on Feb. 17, 2016, and Dolbin sentenced him to 12 months him on probation.After he violated the terms, Dolbin revoked the probation and sentenced Evanco to six to 12 months in jail.Judge James P. Goodman revoked the parole ofMonica Russop, 51, of Tamaqua, after she violated the terms.Russop was charged by borough police with four counts each of theft, receiving stolen property, and forgery on Sept. 17, 2015.The forgery charges were dropped, and Russop on Sept, 28, 2016, pleaded guilty to the theft and receiving charges. She was sentenced to six to 23 months in jail.Goodman sent her back to jail, with a maximum set at Oct. 18, 2018.
