Tamaqua man shoots gun to shut down party

A Tamaqua area man is facing charges following a gun-shooting incident on Saturday.

State police at Frackville said Eimont Bronzini, 58, ofValley Road in Walker Township, just outside Tamaqua, has been charged with reckless endangering, persistent disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and a summary offense of safety zone charge.According to troopers, around 5 p.m. they responded to the area where Bronzini’s neighbors were having a small gathering of family and friends at their residence including several children.Bronzini complained to them that their pool was causing so much noise and vibration that his residence shakes and he has been unable to sleep for three days.Troopers were unable to hear or feel any noises from the pool and left the area.Soon after troopers left, Bronzini began blaring techno music in his house. He then opened his back door and began firing his 9mm Ruger handgun into the hill and rocks just aside of the neighbors’ residence where everyone was gathered.Troopers returned to the residence and placed Bronzini under arrest. He was arraigned before on-call District Judge David J. Rossi, of Tremont, and committed to the county prison in Pottsville in lieu of $25,000 bail.
