The Friends of the Lansford Pool committee will host its first golf tournament on June 11 at the Mahoning Valley Country Club.

The tournament begins at 8 a.m. and costs $80 per golfer."As we continue our commitment to work to ensure the pool remains a vital asset to the communities of the Panther Valley and beyond, this fun event will hopefully enable us to enjoy the summer with friends in support of a noble cause," said Nathan Halenar, chairman of the committee.
