People gather Sunday on the Sgt. Andrew J. "AJ" Baddick Memorial Bridge in Jim Thorpe where a wreath was dropped into the Lehigh River to honor Navy and Coast Guard personnel, and all who lost their lives at sea. The Dolon-Jones-Martino American Legion Post 304 hosted Memorial Day services Sunday and Monday at monuments, cemeteries and churches throughout the region, with a short program consisting of the placement of a wreath, prayer, rifle salute and taps.
