Braves, Yanks post BML wins

The Berlinsville Braves and Northern Yankees both posted wins in baseball action over the weekend.

Easton-BerlinsvilleA strong pitching performance from Zach Palansky Sunday helped the Berlinsville Braves gain a 2-1 Blue Mountain League victory over the Easton Falcons.Palansky, a Northern Lehigh graduate, tossed six innings, giving up five hits and just one run. He allowed four walks while striking out nine.Northwestern grad Jake Augustus had a hit and RBI for the winners, who improved to 2-1.The Falcons put runners on second and third with one out in the seventh, but Dylan Peiffer got out of the jam to earn the save.
