McAdoo police released information on the following citations.

Amanda Reed, 36, of McAdoo, was cited for simple assault and harassment after she punched another woman during an argument. The victim had a black eye. The fight took place at 2:20 p.m. on May 14, in the 100 block of North Sheridan Street.Chantel Segura Vasquez, 21, of Hazleton, was stopped for a traffic violation at 10:42 p.m. on May 19. A routine records check turned up an outstanding warrant for her arrest, issued by Luzerne County officials. The warrant was for possessing a weapon on school property.She was transported to the Schuylkill County prison in Pottsville on the warrant and issued a citation for driving without a license.Thomas Gaughan Sr., 55, of McAdoo, was cited for filing false police reports after he told officers he was being threatened. He claimed another man threw a piece of PVC pipe at him, from a moving vehicle, while Gaughan was walking on Kennedy Drive.An investigation determined that Gaughan made up the story.
