Nevie Gawlik of New Ringgold, grade 10, was named a commended scholar (all grades of 85 or above) during the winter term at Mercersburg Academy.

Mercersburg Academy is a coeducational, independent college preparatory boarding and day school in south-central Pennsylvania with students enrolled in grades 9-12 and a postgraduate year. It has prepared students for college and life beyond since 1893.
