McAdoo Police released information on the following citations:

Darrin Vandermark,25, of Jonestown, was cited for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after officers responded to a report of suspected drug activity in the unit block of North Kennedy Drive.After witnessing an exchange of some type between two men, officers spoke with Vandermark. The van he was driving had an expired inspection sticker and his driver's license was also suspended. A pat down search found a folded metal spoon and a morphine pill.He was also cited for the traffic violations.Crystal Koshmieder, 31, of McAdoo, was cited for simple assault and harassment after an altercation on May 8. Koshmieder reportedly pulled the victim's hair and slammed her to the ground. A witness verified the victim's statement.Phillip Ryan IV, 28, of Tamaqua, was cited for retail theft on May 12. He stole a bag of snacks, valued at $1.39, from the Fegley Mini Mart in McAdoo.Thomas Alishofski, 42, of Hazleton, was cited for driving with a suspended license on May 16. He was stopped for failing to lower his high beams at 12:41 a.m. A records search found an outstanding warrant for his arrest, issued by Luzerne County officials. He was transported to the Luzerne County Prison.
