In conjunction with EMS week, May 21-27, Kid Zone/Blue Mountain Health System and the Pennsylvania State Police will be performing free car seat checks from 10 a.m. to 2

p.m.Tuesday at the Palmerton Ambulance Building at 501 Delaware Ave. in Palmerton.Results from previous car seat safety checks have shown that four out of five car seats are used incorrectly. To be sure yours isn't one of them, bring your child in his or her car seat for a safety check by a safety specialist.No registration is required. The event will be held rain or shine.
