In Eldred Township incumbent Supervisor Gary A. Hoffman held off former township zoning officer Ellerslie W. Helm for the opportunity to return as supervisor in November's election. Hoffman was appointed to the board after the resignation of longtime township secretary and Supervisor Sharon Solt. Hoffman will run unopposed.

Democrat Lenna M. Kuehner will run unopposed for tax collector. Current tax collector Laura Hoffman did not run. Hoffman was appointed to the position after the retirement of longtime tax collector Helen Mackes.In Chestnuthill Township, current Chairman Chuck Gould is unopposed for an additional six-year term. Incumbent June O'Neill will run unopposed for tax collector.Polk Township incumbent Democrat Michael Hurley will face Republican Robert Butler in the November election for a six-year term. Republican Carl Heckman, who was appointed to replace Supervisor Nancy May upon her retirement, will run against Democrat Joan McKinsey for a two-year term to complete what would have been May's full six-year term.Polk's incumbent tax collector Democrat Carolyn Meinhart will face Republican MiChelle Palmer in the November general election.In Ross, Democrat Russell "Butch" Kresge, an incumbent, will run against Republican David M. Shay for the six-year term of supervisor.
